Custodes: Venatari Sodality (77-05) is a multipart plastic miniatures kit for the Adeptus Custodes / Legio Custodes faction, compatible with both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: The Horus Heresy.
The role of Custodian Venatari is reserved for those who have proven themselves in the Blood Games. These elite airborne warriors patrol the rooftops and spires of the Imperial Palace and the skies above any Custodian assault, scanning the battlefield for threats before diving onto isolated targets with speed, precision and overwhelming force. Carried aloft on their Custodian jump harnesses, they are built for rapid, hard-hitting strikes against vulnerable enemy units.
This box builds 6 Venatari on 40mm round bases. In Warhammer: The Horus Heresy they form a Venatari Sodality, while in Warhammer 40,000 the kit can be assembled as either a Venatari Sodality armed with Kinetic Destroyers or one armed with Verutum Lances. Each model can be equipped with a Tarsus Buckler and Kinetic Destroyer for ranged strikes, or a Verutum Lance for close-quarters killing, and every Venatari can also carry an optional Neutronium Cascade Mine, with two models able to be assembled holding one in hand.
The kit is packed with customisation options: 10 heads across 5 designs, 6 Tarsus Bucklers in 3 designs, 8 Custodian jump harnesses in 3 designs, and left and right shoulder pads in multiple designs, allowing every Venatari in the squad to look distinct. In total the box contains 196 plastic components, 6 Citadel 40mm round bases and a construction guide.
Strong points:
Models are supplied unpainted and unassembled; assembly with plastic glue is required.
