Combat Patrol: Adeptus Custodes (73-012) is a boxed set of plastic Citadel miniatures for the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop miniatures game, built around the elite bodyguards of the God-Emperor himself.
The box lets you start a brand new Adeptus Custodes collection or expand an existing army, giving you a complete, ready-to-play force for Combat Patrol games. A Shield-Captain leads a Sentinel Guard Sodality, together forming an elite, flexible infantry core that is dangerous both at range and in melee. The winged Venatari add speed and disruption to the battlefield, while the included Custodian Dreadnought can be assembled as either a heavy-hitting Contemptor-Achillus or a close-combat Contemptor-Galatus, providing powerful fire support or a devastating melee threat as the game demands.
The set contains the following miniatures:
The miniatures offer plenty of room for customization: the Shield-Captain can be equipped with a tall helmet or a bare head, the Sentinel Guard carry Praesidium Shields and Sentinel Blades (with one able to wield a Magisterium Vexilla instead), and the Venatari come with their signature Tarsus weaponry, allowing you to personalize your force while assembling a tactically versatile roster.
All models are supplied unpainted and require assembly. This set is an excellent entry point into the Adeptus Custodes faction and seamlessly transitions into building a larger army for full-scale games of Warhammer 40,000.
