The Tyrannofex is a multi-part plastic miniature kit for the Tyranids faction in Warhammer 40,000, produced by Games Workshop. The box contains 76 components plus one Large Oval base, giving you everything needed to assemble a single large monster for your Hive Fleet.
Standing on four powerful limbs, two hoofed and two arrow-sharp, the Tyrannofex is covered in a thick, chimneyed outer carapace and trails a long, segmented chitinous tail. The kit is designed with a flexible build option: the same set of parts can be assembled as either a Tyrannofex or a Tervigon, letting you choose which centrepiece creature best suits your army.
True to the horrific scale typical of the Tyranids, the Tyrannofex has the armour and fortitude of a living battle fortress, with weaponry that rivals even the heaviest battle tanks in both volume and raw destructive power. Its underside can be modelled with either a fleshborer hive or a rupture cannon, adding further customisation to its brutal arsenal.
As a large, heavily armoured monster, the Tyrannofex serves as a durable anchor and long-range threat within a Tyranid army, able to soak up punishment while bringing devastating firepower to bear on enemy armour and infantry alike.
The miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly; Citadel plastic glue and Citadel paints are recommended to build and finish the model.
