  1. Booking & Availability
  • Can I view the venue in advance? Certainly! We would be happy to show you around. However, this is by appointment only to ensure the space is available.
  • What about availability and pricing? For specific dates, please contact us. Standard rates and various packages can be found under the "Rates" category on this website.
  1. Catering & Refreshments
  • Am I allowed to bring my own food and drinks? Yes, that is permitted. Additionally, Demo-Spel can provide catering or beverages depending on the package you choose.
  • Is there a kitchen available? There is no full kitchen available for renters, but a microwave is at your disposal.
  • Is it mandatory to purchase catering from you? No, but we do ask that you discuss any catering plans with us in advance. This allows us to ensure everything fits within the agreements and the venue's capabilities. We can also recommend excellent catering partners if needed.
  1. Facilities & Technology
  • What technical equipment is available? The venue is equipped with a large television (suitable for presentations) and a high-quality Sonos sound system.
  • Is there Wi-Fi and furniture? Yes, free Wi-Fi is available for all guests. Tables and chairs are also provided and can be arranged in a flexible layout.
  • Is the venue wheelchair accessible? Unfortunately, our location has limited accessibility. There is a small step at the entrance/exit, and the toilets are not wheelchair accessible due to three steps and narrow passages.
  1. House Rules & Decoration
  • Until what time can my event last? The end time is determined in consultation. We take into account the nature of the event and the prevention of nuisance for our neighbors.
  • Are DJs or live music allowed? Yes, this is possible until a pre-arranged hour.
  • Can I decorate the room? You are welcome to decorate, but nothing may be attached to the walls using tape, nails, or screws. You may, however, use the existing anchor points in the room. Note: Flammable lighting (candles, torches), smoke machines, and kerosene lamps are strictly prohibited.
  • What about cleaning? You can choose to have the cleaning and waste disposal handled by us for a flat fee of €25 (an additional fee may apply in exceptional cases).
  1. Deposit & Cancellation
  • Do I need to pay a deposit? Yes, a security deposit is required depending on the type of event. This is determined based on potential risks of damage or cancellation costs.
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    • Free cancellation: Up to 24 hours after the confirmation email OR as long as the event is more than one week away.
    • Within 7 days: 50% of the rate will be charged.
    • On the day itself or no-show: The full rate (venue + packages) will be charged.
    • In cases of proven force majeure, management may decide to review the costs. Please contact us via [email protected] for more information.
  1. Accessibility & Parking
  • Where can my guests park? Free parking is available at Parking Bodart. Paid parking is also available 100 meters away at Sint-Jacobsplein.
