Custodes: Sentinel Guard Sodality is a multipart plastic miniatures kit for the Legio Custodes faction, originally released for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy and now also fully usable in Warhammer 40,000 alongside the current Codex.
The box builds 6 Sentinel Guards, elite bodyguards of the Legio Custodes tasked with protecting emissaries and holding defensive positions against the most grievous onslaught. Each warrior is outfitted with an energy field-reinforced praesidium shield — an ancient precursor to the Legiones Astartes' storm shields, capable of resisting even the heaviest weapons fire — together with a sentinel warblade and misericordia dagger for close-quarters retaliation. One model in the unit can instead be assembled as a Sentinel Vexillarius, exchanging the shield for a magisterium vexilla to carry into battle.
Every miniature is lavished with sculpted iconography and filigree befitting the Emperor's own bodyguard, and the kit offers extensive customisation: 13 interchangeable heads (6 helmeted, 7 bare), 6 interchangeable helmet plumes, 6 interchangeable shields, and the option to pose each warrior with warblade or misericordia in hand.
